Okay Okay, let's proceed with the entry. Orite, in this entry I'm gonna share you a story that are already in front of your eyes :) hihihi

Starting from his schooling era, Syed Mokhtar helped his mother planting and selling vegetables in the market and also selling roti canai. This really shows that his family background is from a poor family until he has to help his mother doing this during his school time.. :( so sadd :'( At this time, his father was working as a cow and buffalo trader. Where he sells and buys them to others. Mr. Syed was also gifted by Allah with knowledge in number since he was in school. This knowledge of his was applied in used to help his father in doing daily book keeping.

After finishing school, Syed Mokhtar helped his father in business but he only see the business washed away by Feet and Mouth disease. Nevertheless, he took over the business and start over by selling meats. He then move on to packaging the meats and start selling them wholesale. His father failed in his actially went to the town of Alor Star and bough unsold meats and packed it in ice and sells it back to restaurant around Alor Star.

In 1972, he moved to transportation business as he manage to get a permit to four classes A lorry. Thanks to MARA, he got a loan worth RM 110,000 and he used that loan to buy a couple of Mercedes 911LS lorry. The transportation company is called Syarikat Pengangkutan Sentosa. He later then use the lorry to start another business but in different field. That is in the paddy (sells rice for sure :D ). This company still exist until now and owned 40 lorry trucks to use.
